How much does a rental cost?
They can be as low as $155 per day to $300 for the luxury models. The prices for our motor home rentals can be found throughout our web site.
How about extra costs?
There are other costs associated with motor home rentals: mileage, insurance, deposits, kit rental, and others.
What kind of insurance do I need?
Our insurance policy requires you provide an insurance binder from your personal insurance. We will issue you a Binder Request Form. All you have to do is send this to your insurance agent and they will issue you a Insurance Binder.
What is the cost of mileage?
An estimated mileage charge will apply to your rental. The charge will be a per day charge based on any miles over the 100 free miles with your rental. The extra mileage rate is .32¢ per mile for miles of 101-299 per day. For miles of 300-399 per day are .45¢ per mile and miles over 400 will be charged at .59¢ per mile. Before your rental we will estimate the total mileage of your trip, payable before you leave. At the end of the rental you will be refunded any excess mileage charges, or be charged at the appropriate rate for additional miles in excess of the estimated mileage.

101 - 199 miles - .32¢ per mile.
200 - 299 miles - .49¢ per mile.
over 300 miles - .74¢ per mile.
Is there a charge for the generator?
You receive 3 hours per day generator useage included in the rental rate. So if you rent for 5 days, you have 15 generator hours included in the rental for free. If you go over that, it is a flat $5/Hr. You can save on this expense by staying in locations that have electrical hookups and not leaving the generator running when you are not in the vehicle.
What kind of gas mileage will we get?
Mileage depends on the size of the motor home and the driving conditions. Generally, you will get between 8 and 11 miles per gallon.
Do I need a special driver's license to drive a motor home?
No, but you need to be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license. No special endorsement is necessary.
When can I pick up the motor home?
Our pick up time is 1:00 p.m. on the first day of rental. If you would like it earlier, and the unit is ready, we may be able to accommodate your needs.
What kind of motor homes do you rent?
Our website lists all of the types and sizes of vehicles we rent. All of our vehicles are listed under the category: Class C or Class A
Is it difficult to drive a motor home?
Motor homes handle much like a car, especially the "C" class which has a van chassis. You will need to remember that they are much larger than the average car so when you turn, your back end will swing out. When you rent the vehicle you will receive an orientation and a drive around the block to show you how they work.
Are motor homes difficult to operate?
No. At departure you will receive a 30-60 minute familiarization tour and learn how to hook up, operate appliances, and the equipment on the RV. We also show you how to plug in to a power source, hook up your dump tanks, and everything else associated with operating an RV.
Does the motor home come equipped with pots and pans?
No, we have found that many people like to bring their own utensils and supplies, but we do have available full housekeeping kits to rent.
Besides the rental cost are there any other charges I will incur?
You will also be asked to pay fuel and cleaning fees at the end of the rental, if not completed prior to the return of the vehicle. Fuel tanks, both gas and propane, must be returned full. Our charge to fill tanks is $25 each, plus fuel charges. Unit must be returned with the interior cleaned. If not, the cleaning fee will be determined by the degree of refurbishing needed.
Does the motor home come with a TV, VCR, or stereo?
Most units come with entertainment systems. Most come with TV, VCR and/or DVD player and some come with In Motion Satellite TV. There is no guarentee that the satellite system will work at all locations.
Are there roll-out awnings on the motor home?
All our units have them. Many units have automatic awnings and controls. A reminder; these systems are very expensive and you are responsible for any damage, typically no less than $3,000. They are very sensitive to wind, so please take precautions and do not leave unattended or up during periods of moderate wind.
Are pets allowed in the motor homes?
Pets are only welcome in some units, with an additional rental and security deposit fee.
Can you smoke in the motor homes?
NEVER. There is a strict "no smoking policy" in all our motor homes. Detection of smoking will result in the complete forfeiture of your rental deposit and may incur odor removal charges.
Is there a limit to how many people can ride in the motor home?
There is no legal limit and there is no seat law governing the use of seat belts in any part of the coach beside the front seats, which requires belts. All motor homes come with seat belts on the dinette and the couch. If so equipped, we recommend they be used. We also recommend the following: 1) Never exceed the maximum capacity as posted in each individual vehicle. Minimum capacity includes the vehicle, all fluids, all occupants, and gear. 2) All passengers should use the provided seat belts. The total number of seat belts will vary according to each vehicle and its floor plan. 3) Child safety seats should be used where applicable. The installation and use of these seats should follow the recommendation of the child seat manufacturer. 4) Overhead areas designed only for sleeping should not be occupied while the vehicle is in motion. . 5) The vehicle should be properly secured prior to travel. This includes locking the doors and dead-bolting them where applicable. Stow the entry step and secure the outside compartments. 6) We expect that you will use good judgment and prudence in your decisions.

Can I park my car at your rental center while we travel?
We have parking available and in most cases we can park one car for one motor home in our storage facility. We assume no responsibility for any and all damage to your vehicle while parked.
Are we allowed to travel into Canada or Mexico?
No, we do not allow our vehicles to leave the United States.
How do I pay for the rental?
We accept all major credit cards and cash for payment or deposits.
Can I tow my car or boat behind the motor home?
We do allow towing with some of our motor homes. The motor homes are only equipped with a receiver hitch, so you would need to provide your own tow ball. We allow a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs, and a maximum gross weight of 2500 lbs.
What kind of facilities might a campground offer?
A partial list of commonly found facilities would include: electric, water, sewer hook-ups, washer, dryer, swimming pool, playground, BBQ pits, on-site convenience store.
What if I am late in returning the vehicle?
The vehicle is overdue after 11:00 a.m. on the date of return. A fee of $25 per hour will be charged for each hour you are late. If not returned by office closing time you will be subject to another days rental charges. Please notify the rental center if you will be late in returning. We can make arrangements for late returns subject to availability.
What if I am involved in an accident?
With any damage to property we require the filing of a police report. We also require you contact us as soon as possible. Please follow the procedures set forth by your insurance company.
What if the motor home breaks down?
You will need to contact us as soon as possible. If the repair is minor, under $100, then have it repaired and we will reimburse you. If the repair requires more than that we need to issue authorization before repair is made.
Driver Requirements:
Qualified drivers are 25 years of age or older possessing a valid and identifiable driver's license. Each driver must provide an insurance binder for operation of the motor home. All drivers must be listed on, and sign, the Rental Agreement and will be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement at vehicle pickup.
Orientation Tour:
Familiarization tour (approximately 30 minutes to 60 minutes) is required to acquaint the customer and drivers with the operation of the vehicle before departure. This tour is only given during office hours. You may schedule this tour before the rental date subject to availability of motor home or similar model.
Optional Use Generator:
Most motor homes are equipped with generators. A generator is not necessary for normal vehicle operation. If a customer chooses to use the generator, extra charges will accrue at $5 per hour as determined by an installed running time meter. Each rental is allowed 3 hours of use per day at no charge.
Parking/Traffic Violations/Toll Violations:
Customers are responsible for reporting and payment of all parking/traffic violations at rental termination. Non-reporting of parking/traffic violations breaches the Rental Contract and may result in an administrative charge of up to $250 in addition to fines.
Maintenance and Breakdown Responsibility:
The customer is responsible for checking engine oil, fluids, and coolant levels at each refueling, as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at rental. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. In the event the vehicle is in breakdown repair for 12 hours or more, through no fault of the customer, our responsibility to customer is limited to refund of daily rate or portion thereof. Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and appliances, cruise control, and generator malfunctions are not considered breakdowns and no refunds are available for repair time to these items.
